hello Family

Hope yall are having a great day. this week has been a good one. we have a baptism on Saturday. Doug moved back so he still can be baptized. we also got a date for David Block. its now on the 8th of Aug. things here in norfolk are starting to really pick up. we currently have four people set for baptism and probable have another set tomorrow. we are still teaching Richard. He and his wife are still married and live not far from our apartment. we haven't had the chance to teach red yet but hopefully we will soon. Me and Elder Doxey still live together. its fun to have someone from springville in my apartment. we get some good laughs in at night. here in Norfolk we don't have to knock on sixty doors a day. i would hate that. we talk to a lot of people while we are riding our bikes. that's a lot more effective than knocking doors. that's good that your still taking swing class. i passed a course yesterday and thought of ya and about good old hobble creek. I got your package with the chips and the jerky. thanks so much. i enjoy coming home and snacking on those for a while before i go to bed. so yesterday we went to down town norfolk. we were passing a building at is said PETA on it. ya know People for the Ethical treatment of animals. I laughed and maybe on a p day we can go and teach them about genesis and how Adam had dominion over the animals. i think that would be the best time in the world. the people here say peta stands for people embarrassing the tide water area. only in norfolk. that's good that yall are working on the shed at the ranch. it will be nice when yall get that done, that way i wont have to lift anymore of those heavy beams. well i hope all is well and that yall have a wonderful week and i look forward to hearing from ya. love and miss ya

Letter Dated 7/08/09

Hello Family

How the heck are Ya? good i hope. I am doing good. Norfolk is hot and humid. oh well what can ya do. This week was really good. we now have three people set for baptism. we have one one the 22nd, and two for the month of aug. it was way cool. we taught this guy named richard and he prayed about the book of mormom and got an answer. he actually married a lady who served in this mission a few years ago. so thats pretty sweet. he has an awesome roomate red,who has been asking a lot of questions. they are both in the navy. red used to ride bulls in the PBR. he is the man. he is from a small town in Texas. he decided to give it up and go into the navy and work on diesel motors. but now he wants out. i hope he decides to take the lessons from us. we have had a few dinner appointments this week. but no i have not been cooking. well if tuna fish sandwiches and frozen pizzas count than yeah. we eat a lot of bannanas and cereal. but other than that i am getting by. the acne thing is doing good. i seem to rarly get any so that is great. on the fourth of july we did not do a thing. we heard alot of fireworks and we ordered some pizza from pizza hut. it tasted awesome and then we went to bed. i know sounds like a lot of fun. I got a email from wes. sounds like he is doing good. thats not good that he might have ot go to afganistan. but i know that the lord will take care of him. thats good that they stared on the shed. it will look good with that new tractor your gonna buy in it. im glad i did not have to lift those beams. oh and i dont really feel to bad about tad and zack being tired. i pedal my bike like ten or twelve miles a day in 90 degree head and humidity off the charts. thanks for getting the box shipped off. riding a bike and pants really dont mix. they get really dirty. Ryan C. entered the mtc today. thats so crazy and clark goes in next. before we know it we will all be home again. thanks again family for all ya do for me. ya are the best family anyone could ever ask for. i love and miss ya
